CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS for June 8, 2008:

1. Every Friday evening we have two prayer meetings: English at 7:30 in the sanctuary led by Brother Miguel Stack; Chinese at 8:00 pm in the dinning hall led by Pastor Chan, Rev. Gerry Fuller and others while we share devotional messages from Chinese scholars in the DVD. Please come and pray for the people and for the work of our church.
2. Biweekly Bible study fellowship on the Gospel of John led by Brother Patrick Wong will continue this Saturday June 14 at Brother Liang Yi and Sister Li Li’s home. 35 Borealis Crescent Ottawa. Bible study at 7:30 pm followed by testimony and discussion on faith and life, concluded by intercessory prayer. All are welcome.
3. Baptism class of 6 sessions June 1st to July 6 starts every Sunday at 9:30 am in the board room led by Brother Shupang Chou and Rev. Wilson Chan. People who plan to be baptised this Summer please contact Rev. Chan and attend the course.
4. "The Ontario Health Department staff and Fire Marshal will come to inspect our church soon as a result of the daycare application. The church property committee wishes to clean up and discard all unwanted stuff in the basement storage rooms and hallways – things such as old clothes, car tires and things blocking the doorways etc. Members who have stored such items in the church basement please have them removed as soon as possible. If there are concerns please contact Sam Chu or Wei Wang."
5. Every Wednesday night 7：30 PM English prayer of intercession is held in the board room led by Rev. Fred Milnes and Rev. Wilson Chan alternatively. Please come and pray with us.
6. English Bible study fellowship will be held June 22 Sunday in the home of Teresa and James Hung. Potluck dinner at 6:15 pm and Bible study at 7:15. We will use the book 30 Days Introduction to Reading the Bible as guide. Please contact Sister Teresa Fang or Rev. Chan if you are interested.
7. Sister Wu Di’s mother Mrs. Yue Rui yun is weak in body. She needs to go to the hospital for various medical check up. We pray the Lord to watch over her. God help her find the cause of her infirmity, be cured and have speedy recovery.
8．2008 Ottawa Mandarin Joint Devotional Meeting is scheduled for June 6th Friday to 8th Sunday (today is the last day) 7:30-9:30 pm at Ottawa Chinese Christian Church, 116 Empress Ave. Theme: Renewal of Christian life; Preacher: Rev. John Sun. All are welcome.

1. 逢周五晚上我們有兩個祈禱會：由Miguel Stack弟兄帶領的英文禱告於7時半在禮拜堂舉行；由陳牧師Rev. Gerry Fuller和弟兄姊妹帶領的中文禱告於8時在飯廳舉行，我們先看錄像見證，再為關懷事情祈禱。請為教會的事工和弟兄姊妹常常禱告。
2. 每兩週一次約翰福音查經團契由黃子添弟兄帶領本星期六6月14日在梁毅夫婦家中35 Borealis Crescent Ottawa舉行。7時半開始查經，繼有見證和討論信仰與生活問題最後有互相代禱和團契時間。歡迎您參加。
3. 為期六堂之洗禮班6月1日至7月6日逢主日上午九點在會議室舉行由周樹邦弟兄及陳偉甡牧師分別帶領，打算夏天洗禮的弟兄姊妹，請向陳牧師報名，並參加洗禮班。
4. 應日託中心的申請安省衛生部官員和消防局幫辦將到本堂查察。樓業委員會須要清潔及掃除地庫儲物房和走廊雜物--諸如舊衣服，車胎，和其他擋住通道的東西等等。教友如果有以上東西放在地庫，請盡快把它們清理。如有問題請與朱浥和弟兄或王蔚弟兄聯絡。
5. 逢星期三晚上7時半英語禱告會在會議室舉行。由 Rev. Fred Milnes 與陳偉甡牧師輪流帶領，守望儆醒禱告。請您來與我們一起為教會守望禱告。
6. 英文查經團契定6月22日星期天在方紫鋒和James夫婦家中舉行。晚上6點15分晚飯，七點15分查經。用30 Days Introduction To Reading The Bible 作為藍本。有興趣參加者請與牧師或方姊妹聯絡。
7. 吳鏑姊妹的母親岳瑞雲老姊妹身體軟弱，需要按時到醫院做檢查，求主看顧保守她，找出病痛的原因，對症下藥回復健康。
8. 2008年渥太華國語聯合培靈大會定6月6日星期五至6月8日星期日（今天最後）晚上7時30分至9時30分在渥太華華人基督教會116 Empress Ave.舉行。主題：基督徒生命的更新；講員：孫約翰牧師。歡迎參加。
