1. Today is the last Sunday of Epiphany. Epiphany began when we realized the gentiles represented by the three wise men caught sight of the bright star and started looking for Christ. It ends today when we realize in Jesus transfiguration on the mountaintop that he really is the Christ the whole world has been looking for.
2. English pray and praise time led by youth worker brother Miguel Stack and minister Rev. Wilson Chan meets every Friday night 7 pm in the sanctuary. Please come and join the fellowship.
3. This Wednesday Feb. 6 is Ash Wednesday, it marks the beginning of Lent a time for repentance and preparation for Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for us.
4. Annual congregational meeting is scheduled for Feb. 17 Sunday at 1 pm in the sanctuary. 2007 annual report will be distributed before that date. All church members please get a copy and attend the meeting.
5. 2 adult Sunday school classes commence in January 2008. They are: 1. study on the Book of Romans for new believers led by Brother Patrick Wong in the dinning room downstairs; 2. challenging Christian lifestyle for long time believers led by Rev. 1. Today is the 3rd Sunday after Epiphany. We remember Jesus manifesting God’s love and power by feeding the hungry. There is more than enough food to feed everyone who hungers in the world. Jesus depends on us to distribute God’s abundance.

1. Today is the first Sunday after Epiphany. We see God revealing to us as the One who heals. The ministry of Jesus reveals the power of the Spirit to heal dis-ease in human bodies, minds, souls, and relationships. The healing power of the spirit flows through Jesus of Nazareth, and through those who come to trust in God’s love through the love of Jesus Christ.
2. Mandarin faith seekers’ class continues to meet biweekly this Saturday Jan 19, 2008 for lesson three in the new series, “Testimony of Zhang Bo Li”. Class schedule as follow: 6pm super, 6:45pm talk, 7:45pm discussion, 8:30pm free time. Contact Brother Frank Zhang for details.
3. 20 copies of the Chinese devotional “Proclaim” for Jan and Feb 2008 are put on the foyer front desk. Please claim your copy and do your daily devotion accordingly.

1. Today (January 6th) is the first day of Epiphany. We thank God for spreading the good news of Christ’s birth to the gentles—by the morning star manifested to the three wise men. Let us also witness Christ’s glory in the same way.
2. Our Christmas celebration last year was a great success. Brothers and sisters use their time and energy and gave of their very best to glorify God. A big hand to the organizing team which includes but not limited to Sister Amy Deng; Brother Frank Pan; Sister Nan Wang; Sister Susie Cui; Sister Di Wu, Sister Ni Zeng and Sister Veronica Chen.

1. Today (January 6th) is the first day of Epiphany. We thank God for spreading the good news of Christ’s birth to the gentles—by the morning star manifested to the three wise men. Let us also witness Christ’s glory in the same way.
2. Our Christmas celebration last year was a great success. Brothers and sisters use their time and energy and gave of their very best to glorify God. A big hand to the organizing team which includes but not limited to Sister Amy Deng; Brother Frank Pan; Sister Nan Wang; Sister Susie Cui; Sister Di Wu, Sister Ni Zeng and Sister Veronica Chen.
3. 20 copies of the Chinese devotional “Proclaim” for Jan and Feb 2008 are put on the foyer front desk. Please claim your copy and do your daily devotion accordingly.
4. 2008 new offering envelopes are ready for pick up from Brother Yi Linag. Please claim your boxes of envelopes and give accordingly on Sundays.
5. 2 adult Sunday school classes commence in January 2008. They are: 1. study on the Book of Romans for new believers led by Brother Patrick Huang in the board room up stairs; 2. challenging Christian lifestyle for long time believers led by Rev. Wilson Chan in the dinning room downstairs. Please come every Sunday morning at 9:30 am to attend Sunday school.
6. English prayer meeting commences every Wednesday night in the boardroom upstairs at 7:30 pm. “How Intercession Works” led jointly by Rev. Fred Milnes and Rev. Wilson Chan. Please come and feel the thrilling and fulfilling experience of the Holy Spirit.

2. 去年的聖誕節慶祝非常成功，弟兄姊妹們獻上心思精神時間力量把最好的獻上榮耀神，我們為他們的辛勞感謝主，他們包括了，但不局限於以下的籌備小組成員：易珊紅姊妹；潘文弟兄；王楠姊妹；崔樹新姊妹；吳鏑姊妹；曾霓姊妹和陳必英姊妹等等。
3. 20份中文靈修【傳】2008年1，2月版已放在門口桌子上，請領取一份回家每天作個人靈修之用。
4. 2008年新奉獻封已製妥，請向梁毅弟兄領取您的捐封盒子，並按時每星期天崇拜時把您的奉獻擺上。
5. 2008年成人主日學有兩個新課程推出：1. 為初信者而設的羅馬書釋義由黃子添弟兄帶領在樓上會議廳舉行。2. 為舊信徒而設的如何面對基督徒生活挑戰由陳偉甡牧師帶領在樓下飯廳舉行。請每主日早上9時半返堂參加主日學。
6. 逢星期三晚上7時半英語祈禱會在樓上會議廳舉行，【如何在靈裏互相代禱】由Fred Milnes牧師和陳偉甡牧師帶領。歡迎您參加。

联合教会欢迎大家1月5日(周六)晚来听张伯笠见证系列之:喜乐的生命
从逃亡到自由，张伯笠的欢喜快乐是可想而知的，但疾病的折磨也立刻跟来。经过多次化疗，他的信心还在吗？欢迎大家来听张伯笠结合自己的传奇经历所作的见证和分析。他声情并茂的讲述，定会让你有所收获。
讲员简介: 张伯笠，曾是记者、作家、北大人、通缉犯、逃亡者和偷渡客。他曾是普林斯顿大学访问学者，也是美国和台湾肾脏医院的垂死客。是耶稣拯救了他，使他出死入生，成为新造的人。
