Congreation & Church Concerns 2008/11/30

CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS:
1. Today is the first Sunday of Advent. We light the Advent candle of Hope. Because God’s promises to our ancestors came true when Jesus was born.
2. On Sunday morning 9:30 am Rev. Chan is starting a new Adult Sunday School course called “In the Beginning…” a study on Chapters 1-3 of Genesis. This is a search for truth about the beginning of life and the creation of God. Please bring a new friend and join the class.
3. This Friday Dec. 5 evening 8:00 pm Rev. Gerry Fuller and his wife Mrs. Norma Fuller will lead Bible Study and prayer in the dinning hall. We will pray for our parishioners and for our ministry. All are welcome.
4. This Saturday Dec. 6 evening 6:00 pm Chinese Scholars’ Evangelist Testimony on DVD will be held in the dinning hall featuring second lecture of a new series by Rev. Hong Zi Jian. All are welcome.
5. The church is planning to have a Christmas Celebration this year. We’ll need two groups of people to organize the celebration like last year. 1. church decoration; 2. program organizing. If you want to volunteer and help please talk to brother Frank Pan.
会友与教会关怀：
1. 今天是将临节第一主日。我们燃点代表希望的烛光，因为神对前人的应许已经实现了---那就是耶稣基督的降临。
2. 逢星期天上午9点30分，陈牧师开始新的成人主日学课程『万事有起头』研读创世记第一至第三章。适合对生命的源头和寻根溯源有兴趣的朋友与我们一起学习。请带新朋友来参加。
3. 本星期五12月5日下午八点，GERRY牧师和太太NORMA女士将带领查经和祷告。我们为教友的事情和教会的事工，同心合意祷告。
4. 本星期六12月6日下午6时，中国学者传道人布道光碟见证晚会有『洪予健讲道集』。请带新朋友来参加。
5. 本堂预备今年有圣诞庆祝。我们需要两组人帮忙如去年一样。1.教堂布置；2.节目安排。如果您有兴趣帮手，请与潘文弟兄联络。

CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS:
1. On Sunday morning 9:30 am Rev. Chan is starting a new Adult Sunday School course called “In the Beginning…” a study on Chapters 1-3 of Genesis. This is a search for truth about the beginning of life and the creation of God. Please bring a new friend and join the class.
2. This Wednesday Nov. 19 evening 7:30 pm Rev. Chan will lead a prayer using a book entitled Face to Face with God in Your Church. We are starting up a prayer ministry in this church. Please come and join us.
3. This Friday Nov. 21 evening 8:00 pm Rev. Gerry Fuller and his wife Mrs. Norma Fuller will lead Bible Study and prayer in the dinning hall. We will pray for our parishioners and for our ministry. All are welcome.
4. This Saturday Nov. 22 evening 6:00 pm Chinese Scholars Evangelist Testimony on DVD will be held in the dinning hall. We will begin with a dinner, followed by the testimony of a new series by Rev. Hong Zi Jian and will be concluded by small group reflection and discussion. All are welcome.
5. The Chinese devotional materials “Proclaim” for Nov. and Dec. has arrived and are placed in the foyer for pick up. Please claim your copy and do daily devotions accordingly.
6. Brother Miguel Stack is starting up a musical interest group called junior youth band. Young people who are interested to learn and play musical instruments to praise God, please contact Miguel for details.

2. 本星期三11月19日下午七點半，陈牧师将带领祷告时间，题目：与主面对面。学习操练如何建造强有力的祷告事工。 请您加入我们的行列。。
3. 本星期五11月21日下午8時正，GERRY牧师与太太NORMA女士将来到我们当中在饭厅带领查经和祷告会。请来参加为教友的事情和教会的事工，我们同心合意祷告。
4. 本星期六11月22日下午6時，中国学者传道人布道光碟见证晚会，我们将分享『洪予健见证布道-1人生之迷』。内容有晚饭，讲座，分组讨论等，請帶新朋友來参加。
5. 中文灵修小册子【传】11，12月版已经寄到本堂，并放在入口桌子上供領取，请拿一本回家作每天个人灵修之用。
6. 青年工作者Miguel Stack弟兄现正组织青少年乐队，凡对学习乐器有兴趣或喜欢用音乐来颂赞神的年青人，请向MIGUEL弟兄报名参加。
