2. Praise the Lord! Eight people from our church accepted Jesus as their Saviour and Lord during the last weekend’s Joint Mandarin Evangelical meeting. Most of them are from our ESL classes.

3. The General Council Committee has accepted Pastor James Chang’s application papers. An interview with the Conference Interview Board is scheduled from October 25 to 27 in Montreal. Please continue to pray for God’s wisdom and guidance.
总会已通过了张云台牧师的资历评估和申请.张牧师将于与蒙地可-渥太
华区会在十月25至27日有一次面谈.求神继续赐智慧及带领聘牧事工.

2. The English Ministry is running a free workshop with the theme "Doing your best in a Job Interview." Kevin Schafer of CareerJoy® is the presenter on September 11 at 1:00pm. We have more than 10 registered but can accommodate a few more. See Amy to register or leave a message with Bruce at (613) 260-8763.
英语事工组计划于九月十一日下午一时举办”如何有一个成功的面试”的讲座,已有十多位報名如有兴趣参加,请向易珊红姊妹Bruce弟兄资询.
3. The OJMMC will have a joint prayer meeting on Wednesday Sept. 8 at OCBC (450 Churchill Ave. N., Ottawa) from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Our church members are encouraged to attend. The prayer meeting will be led by Pastor Niu of OCBC, and will be praying for the upcoming Evangelical Meetings (Sept. 17 - 19).
