3. Today is the first Sunday of Advent, during this Advent season we look forward with anticipation to celebrating God’s great gift of love to us at Christmas. Advent is also a season in which we look ahead to the day when Christ comes again and makes all things new. Today we light the first Advent candle of HOPE, because Jesus is the hope of the world.

4. Our Council has approved that starting from Dec 5th, 2010, Brother Miguel will no longer work as our Youth worker so he can focus on his Spanish group ministry. He will continue to worship with us and may involve in our Mission & Outreach ministry in the future. All youth will join the adult worship in the sanctuary.
Miguel弟兄从12月5日起不再负责青少年事工. 他会继续参予教会事奉. 从下主日(12月5日)起所有青少年会留在大堂一起崇拜.

馮津牧師簡介
廣東番禺人，抗日戰爭時生於天津因以為名。孩童時在北京生活, 故能純正北京話。十歲時隨父母南遷，在香港受教育，一九六一年 於香港浸會書院(現香港浸會大學前身)土木工程學系畢業後受聘為 土木工程師。一九六五年間因香港發生銀行擠提風潮，導致市面經 濟全面潰退，建築業停止，因而離開工程界轉任中學數理科教員。 一九七零年在神引領下投身全職事奉傳道行列，加入香港中國信徒 佈道會為幹事，同時於浸信會神學院攻讀神學課程。一九七三年移 民加拿大開始教會牧養工作，並進入安大略省神學院進修，在美加 等地華人教會牧會三十多年之久，忠心事奉。馮牧師熱心福音廣播，
從事空中牧養及空中神學教導事奉至今二十多年，是一位很受聽眾 觀迎的空中牧師，現任加拿大遠東廣播之駐台牧師及致力拓展事工.

2. We will start searching for a Mandarin speaking minister after our congregation and the Presbytery approve the Joint Needs Assessment (JNAC) report, which is available at the back table. Please give your suggestions or comments to Frank Pan.
JNAC (共同需要--教会及区会) 報告己完成, 会众可到后面桌子拿一份阅读, 如有建议可通知潘文弟兄. 報告经会众及区会批准后, 就可以开始聘 牧的工作.
3. We continue to pray for God’s healing mercy upon brother Junqiang Xiao as he is experiencing problems with his digestive system. Some tests had been done last Wednesday, he is now waiting for the result. May God restore his health and give him strength again.
请继续为萧浚强弟兄健康祷告,他食道有问题上週三做了检查,现在等待检验结果.求神赐力量及医治.

1. A very warm welcome to Rev. Fuller for bringing God’s Word to us this morning.

2. Today is Christ the King Sunday, the Sunday before Advent. An important theme for this Sunday is that Christ reigns by freely sacrificing His own life so that others may live. We remind ourselves that Jesus is our Lord and King, that His Way is at the centre of our life.
今天是基督是王主日(降临节前一主日). 基督羲牲自己使我们得永生. 耶稣基督是我们生命的中心, 和生命的主宰和王.
3. Pastor Chang and his wife will be driving from Madison, Wisconsin on November 26 and will arrive Ottawa on November 27. Please pray for their traveling safety and a smooth transition and adjustment to a new enviornment.
张牧師及師母將于本月26-27日从美国康州开车来渥太华. 求神保守他们路途平安及早日适应新环境.

2. Pastor Chang’s appointment as a full time ordained supply minister to OCUC was approved by the Ottawa Presbytery last Tuesday, November 9. Presbytery also provides financial support up to $2,000 to assist Pastor Chang’s moving cost. Our church has passed the motion to increase his moving allowance from $1,500 to $2,500 at the recent congregational meeting. Thank God for His blessings and provision. Praise the Lord!

1. A very warm welcome to Rev. Fred Milnes for bringing God’s Word to us and officiating the Holy Communion service this morning.

2. Our congregation passed the motion to request the Ottawa Presbytery to approve the appointment of Pastor Chang as our church Mandarin pastor at our Congregational meeting last Sunday. The request still need the final approval by the Presbytery Executives during the November 9 meeting. Please continue to pray for God’s guidance and provision.
上周日会友大会通过堂会动议请区会委派张牧师为我们教会的国语牧师.区会于十一月九日开会决定. 求神带领和供应.
3. Our church and 3 other Mandarin churches (Alliance, Emmanuel Alliance and Christian Church) have been chosen to host future joint evangelical and devotional meetings during the recent Ottawa Joint Mandarin Ministry Committee meeting. Praise the Lord for the opportunity to use our church for God’s glory.
