1. We welcome Rev. Bill Carruthers, Director & Principal of the Global Teaching School for bringing God’s Word to us this morning.

2. We warmly welcome Pastor James Chang and his wife Julie worshiping with us this morning. Pastor Chang will commence his capacity as our Mandarin pastor starting from December. We look forward to a thriving and exciting ministry together with him.

3. Today is the first Sunday of Advent, during this Advent season we look forward with anticipation to celebrating God’s great gift of love to us at Christmas. Advent is also a season in which we look ahead to the day when Christ comes again and makes all things new. Today we light the first Advent candle of HOPE, because Jesus is the hope of the world.

4. Our Council has approved that starting from Dec 5th, 2010, Brother Miguel will no longer work as our Youth worker so he can focus on his Spanish group ministry. He will continue to worship with us and may involve in our Mission & Outreach ministry in the future. All youth will join the adult worship in the sanctuary.
