2. We have received three applications for the Mandarin pastor position. The Pastoral
Search Committee had phone interview with the 2nd candidate last Saturday. We
will update the searching progress at a later date. Please continue to pray for
God’s wisdom and guidance.
我们一共收到三位申请教会国语牧師的职位. 上周六已与第二一位应徵者在电
话会谈. 日后我们会报导聘牧的進展. 求神恩待及带领聘牧工作.
3. There will be a short congregational meeting right after service next Sunday, May 2.

5. Please pray for the victims affected by the April 4 devastating earthquake in Qinghai,
China. Your donation will help disaster victims to rebuild their lives and their
communities. You can send your donation through the “Global Teaching School” by
using the school envelope or specify on your regular offering envelope “Relief Fund”
and our church will forward the donation to the relief organization such as Red
Cross…etc. Thank you for your generosity.

7. Presently in OCUC, we are Mandarin speaking Christians relatively new from China. We welcome and seek partnerships in Christ from Christians with burden to serve the Lord. Come to join our vibrant choir in town and participate in the various church ministries if you can and are willing to.

2. We give thanks to God for an encouraging Annual Congregational meeting last
Sunday. Annual report has been accepted with some minor corrections and
modifications. Congregation also accepted Sister Nan Wang to be our new council
member responsible for Christian Education. Pray for the spirit of cooperation and
humility to serve God faithfully.
感谢神赐给我们上周日有一成功的会友大会,及接受(部分修改) 2009年度报告及
今年度预算.大会接纳王楠姊妹加入堂会负责基督教育事工. 求神赐给我们有

2. Rev. Fred Milnes had suffered eye problem last week. Thank God that the swelling and pain had subsided. Pray for God’s healing mercy and a speedy recovery.
Fred Milnes牧師上周有眼疾入急症室. 现已退腫逐渐恢復正常.求神医治早日恢 復健康.
3. Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be held today after lunch. We will receive our 2009 Annual report, allocate our budget for 2010, and review God’s guidance and blessings during the past year together. All are welcomed. Please plan to attend.

cells. He will be transferring to the Elizabeth Bruyere Hosp. If you would like to help him pay for the recovery expenses, please specify on the offering envelop
“For Brother Xiao”.Thank you for your generosity and please continue to pray for God’s healing mercy upon him.

6. Our congratulation to brother Miguel & sister Xiaomara for the birth of their
second son last week.
恭贺Miguel和Xiaomara上周新添一男婴.
7.Church Good Friday Service (2nd April 2010) was at 7:30 pm. With more than 50 congregation members attended, this year the church organized a Passover supper with roasted lamb and unleavened bread in remembrance of Jesus who suffered and died on the cross for our sins at 6:00 pm. With reference to Christ’s crucifixion, Rev. Fuller summarized the history and meaning of Passover. Many thanks to concerned sisters and brothers for their labour of love in organizing and making the event possible.

5. Brother Junqiang Xiao underwent operation last Monday to remove cancerous
cells. He will be transferring to the Elizabeth Bruyere Hosp. If you would like to help him pay for the recovery expenses, please specify on the offering envelop

6. Our congratulation to brother Miguel & sister Xiaomara for the birth of their
second son last week.
恭贺Miguel和Xiaomara上周新添一男婴.
7.Church Good Friday Service (2nd April 2010) was at 7:30 pm. With more than 50 congregation members attended, this year the church organized a Passover supper with roasted lamb and unleavened bread in remembrance of Jesus who suffered and died on the cross for our sins at 6:00 pm. With reference to Christ’s crucifixion, Rev. Fuller summarized the history and meaning of Passover. Many thanks to concerned sisters and brothers for their labour of love in organizing and making the event possible.
