1. A very happy Father’s Day to all. On this day we celebrate and give thanks to God for the gift of fathers and grand-fathers. We also remember that God is our Heavenly Father who cares for us.

3. After more than one month planning, our first youth/children fellowship has kicked off on Friday (June 17). Brother Frank Pan organized this event and also shared the message "Without faith, we cannot please God". About 10-15 youth and children attended this meeting. New ping pong paddles, balls and foosball were purchased and the ping pong tables were being fixed. Daniel Deng and Connie Wang are the two leaders for the fellowship. If you want to know more detail information about the fellowship, please contact Frank.

4. The Council has appointed brother Tony Seah to be the manager of the church property to manage property issues and ongoing projects. Brother Tony will report to the church council directly. Tony was a former Property chair in the church many years ago. We believe that his rich experience in the church property will be a big blessing to the church.

.1. Starting from May, the children Sunday School (grade 4 and under) will be changed to 11:30am – 12:30pm right after Children Message. Youth and adult Sunday School remain the same starting at 1:30pm.
从五月份开始儿童主日学(四年级以下)改在儿童信息之后(上午十一时半).青少年及成人主日学照常在下午一时半开课.
2. Starting from May, there will be a “New Christian Study Class” every Sunday at 1:30 pm. for the newly baptized Christians who are required to attend, and also for others who are interested in attending.
从五月份开始每主日下午一时半有为新洗礼的基督徒而设的主日学班. 新洗礼的基督徒一定要参加也欢迎其他弟兄姊妹一起来学习真道.

1. Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be held today after Worship Service. We will receive our 2010 Annual report, allocate our budget for 2011, and review God’s guidance and blessings during the past year together. All are welcome. Please plan to attend.

2. Our church is currently looking for a part-time cleaner. The successful
candidate must be a registered, bondable cleaning contractor. Please see
Brother Wei or Bruce for details.

3. We are in the Lent season, a time when Christians reflect on the passion of Christ, on our own spiritual neediness and on God’s love for us as demonstrated in the Cross of Christ.

1. Starting from February, we will have prayer meeting every Friday at 8:00pm. Rev. Chang will lead and give a short message prior to group praying. “In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Phil 4:6. Please come and pray together!

2. Starting from February 12, we will have fellowship meeting focusing on family life on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 7:30 pm at members’ homes. Rev. Chang will be leading the discussion. Please come and share your thoughts with us.

3. The Christian Education Committee is contemplating the idea of moving the Children Sunday School classes (pre-school to grade 5) from 1:15pm to 10:30 am, which is our Junior Church time at the present moment. Please give your feedback to Sister Nan.

4. Our church is searching for a suitable youth worker to minister to our young people. Please pray for God’s guidance and provision.

1. We thank God for a meaningful and successful Covenanting Service last Sunday. About one hundred people attended the service, among them were representatives from Presbytery and pastors from 4 Chinese churches. We look forward to work together with Rev. Chang to revive our church.

1. Rev. Chang’s Covenanting Service is today at 2:00 pm in our church. The Ottawa Presbytery is presiding the ceremony in which the minister, the congregation, the church and God will celebrate our holy covenant together. Please come and celebrate this event.

2. All Sunday School classes will be cancelled today due to Rev. Chang’s
Covenanting Service. Classes will resume next Sunday.

1. Rev. James Chang’s Covenanting Service is scheduled for January 16 at 2:00 pm in our church. The Ottawa Presbytery is planning the ceremony in which the minister, the congregation, the church and God will celebrate our Holy covenant together. Rev. Fred Milnes will be our quest speaker at the ceremony. Please mark your calendar and your friends to attend and celebrate with us.

2. In the new year, our church is promoting a “Reading the whole Bible in one year” program. Please pick up a plan from the back table. Whoever check and finish reading the whole Bible according to the plan can receive a prize from Pastor Chang.

2. We thank God for a wonderful New Year’s Eve gathering last Friday. We sang songs of praise, sharing and counting God’s blessings, and we also thank our brothers and sisters for their labour in preparing lots of delicious dumplings for us to enjoy.
