Congreation & Church Concerns 2008/11/30

CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS:
1. Today is the first Sunday of Advent. We light the Advent candle of Hope. Because God’s promises to our ancestors came true when Jesus was born.
2. On Sunday morning 9:30 am Rev. Chan is starting a new Adult Sunday School course called “In the Beginning…” a study on Chapters 1-3 of Genesis. This is a search for truth about the beginning of life and the creation of God. Please bring a new friend and join the class.
3. This Friday Dec. 5 evening 8:00 pm Rev. Gerry Fuller and his wife Mrs. Norma Fuller will lead Bible Study and prayer in the dinning hall. We will pray for our parishioners and for our ministry. All are welcome.
4. This Saturday Dec. 6 evening 6:00 pm Chinese Scholars’ Evangelist Testimony on DVD will be held in the dinning hall featuring second lecture of a new series by Rev. Hong Zi Jian. All are welcome.
5. The church is planning to have a Christmas Celebration this year. We’ll need two groups of people to organize the celebration like last year. 1. church decoration; 2. program organizing. If you want to volunteer and help please talk to brother Frank Pan.
会友与教会关怀：
1. 今天是将临节第一主日。我们燃点代表希望的烛光，因为神对前人的应许已经实现了---那就是耶稣基督的降临。
2. 逢星期天上午9点30分，陈牧师开始新的成人主日学课程『万事有起头』研读创世记第一至第三章。适合对生命的源头和寻根溯源有兴趣的朋友与我们一起学习。请带新朋友来参加。
3. 本星期五12月5日下午八点，GERRY牧师和太太NORMA女士将带领查经和祷告。我们为教友的事情和教会的事工，同心合意祷告。
4. 本星期六12月6日下午6时，中国学者传道人布道光碟见证晚会有『洪予健讲道集』。请带新朋友来参加。
5. 本堂预备今年有圣诞庆祝。我们需要两组人帮忙如去年一样。1.教堂布置；2.节目安排。如果您有兴趣帮手，请与潘文弟兄联络。
