2月3日會友與教會關懷

CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS for Feb 3, 2008:
(English)
1. Today is the last Sunday of Epiphany. Epiphany began when we realized the gentiles represented by the three wise men caught sight of the bright star and started looking for Christ. It ends today when we realize in Jesus transfiguration on the mountaintop that he really is the Christ the whole world has been looking for.
2. English pray and praise time led by youth worker brother Miguel Stack and minister Rev. Wilson Chan meets every Friday night 7 pm in the sanctuary. Please come and join the fellowship.
3. This Wednesday Feb. 6 is Ash Wednesday, it marks the beginning of Lent a time for repentance and preparation for Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for us.
4. Annual congregational meeting is scheduled for Feb. 17 Sunday at 1 pm in the sanctuary. 2007 annual report will be distributed before that date. All church members please get a copy and attend the meeting.
5. 2 adult Sunday school classes commence in January 2008. They are: 1. study on the Book of Romans for new believers led by Brother Patrick Wong in the dinning room downstairs; 2. challenging Christian lifestyle for long time believers led by Rev. Wilson Chan in the board room up stairs. Please come every Sunday morning at 9:30 am to attend Sunday school.
6. English prayer meeting commences every Wednesday night in the boardroom upstairs at 7:30 pm. “How Intercession Works” led jointly by Rev. Fred Milnes and Rev. Wilson Chan. Please come and feel the thrilling and fulfilling experience of the Holy Spirit.

1. 今天是顯現節最後主日。顯現節開始於外邦人三博士發現明星而到處尋找基督。它結束於今天，因為耶穌登山變像，易容顯光，告訴我們祂就是那位世人所尋找的基督。
2. 由陳偉甡牧師及Miguel Stack弟兄帶領之英語祈禱與讚美時間逢星期五晚上7時在禮拜堂聚集，歡迎您參加共伸團契。
3. 本星期三2月6日是灰的星期三，大齋節於此開始，讓我們用認罪悔改的心凖備基督在十字架上為我們犧牲的日子又臨近了。
4. 教友大會定於2月17日星期天下午1時在本禮拜堂舉行。2007年年報將於會期之前印發，請每位教友領取一份並參加教友大會。
5. 2008年成人主日學有兩個新課程推出：1. 為初信者而設的羅馬書釋義由黃子添弟兄帶領在樓下飯廳舉行。2. 為舊信徒而設的如何面對基督徒生活挑戰由陳偉甡牧師帶領在樓上會議廳舉行。請每主日早上9時半返堂參加主日學。
6. 逢星期三晚上7時半英語祈禱會在樓上會議廳舉行，【如何在靈裏互相代禱】由Fred Milnes牧師和陳偉甡牧師帶領。歡迎您參加。
