CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS:

1. Caleb fellowship will meet this Wednesday May 20th at 12 noon in the dinning room . Potluck lunch will begin first followed by special sharing from brothers and sisters who traveled in China the past winter. All seniors are welcome. 2. Church council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday May 20th at 7:45 pm in the board room. All church council members please attend. 3. Global Day of Prayer 2009 summon all Christians to pray and worship with millions worldwide, on Pentecost Sunday 31 May 2009, Ottawa venue will be held in City Church at 155 Carillon St. 7-9 pm We will pray globally and gather locally. Ten days before the event we will pray with many around the clock for ten days, 21-30 May. 4. A Sunday school teacher training entitled “Teach to Change Lives” in Mandarin led by Rev. Hongji Leu will take place in the Emmanuel Alliance Church of Ottawa 4 Thorncliff Place, Nepean. on Jun 12-14, 2009 (Friday night to Sunday noon) Cost: $25 per person which includes Saturday lunch and lecture notes. Contact Rev. Chan for registration and details. 5. This is Asian Heritage Month. May was first declared Asian Heritage Month in Canada in 2001 and since then, has been celebrated in the United Church of Canada. The month provides an opportunity to prayerfully reflect on the contributions of Asian Canadian society, and to honour and celebrate this important aspect of Canadian history.

1. 迦勒团契於本星期三5月20日中午12点在饭厅举行活动。开始有potluck午餐，继有特别讲座，由从中国旅游回来的弟兄姊妹分享所见所闻。欢迎年长弟兄姊妹参加。2. 堂会会议定於本星期三5月20日下午7点45分在会议室举行，请各堂会职员出席。3. 环球祈祷日呼吁全世界的基督徒在圣灵降临节5月31日一齐祷告。渥太华的地 点是155 CARILLON ST.城市教会。十天之前即5月21-30日，我们要为这件事每 天24小时接力祷告。4. 主日学教师讲习班，【改变生命的教导】由吕鸿基牧师用国语教导，定於2009年6月12-14日（星期五晚上到星期天中午）在渥太华主恩宣道会4 Thorncliff Place, Nepean.举行。费用：每人加币$25，包含周六午餐与讲义。详情与报名请向陈牧师查询。5. 五月是亚洲文化传统月。从2001年起我们的宗派便庆祝这个月。我们在祷告中纪念亚裔加拿大人，在本国社会所作的贡献，他们参与并在加拿大历史写了光辉的一页。
