CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS:

1. Today is Holy Communion Sunday we observe the sacrament of the Eucharist as commanded by our Lord. All baptized Christians irrespective of their denominational background are welcome to join this table.
2. The church has planned and organized the following summer events. We We welcome all members and friends to join us. - On July 11, farewell fellowship for Rev Chan. Contact person: brother Frank Pan - On July 18, church outing to Lac Phillippe. Contact person: brother Shupang Chou. - On Aug 2 to 4, church group camping at the Logos Land park. So far we have 20 families joining this event. Contact person: brother Frank Pan.
3. Our minister Rev. Wilson Chan had requested for a change in pastoral relationship with our church effective August 6th 2009 for the purpose of seeking a new call or appointment. This request has been approved by the Presbytery and accepted by the Church Council. Reason: God has a good plan for this church and for Rev. Chan. Next Sunday is the last Sunday we will hear Rev. Chan preach and conduct service in our church before he takes off for the remainder of his vacations.
4. Ms. Herisa Chan a spiritual direction teacher will lead a quiet day retreat which helps participants into relaxation, silence and Scriptural meditation in simple words. Date: July 11 (Saturday) Time: 9am -4pm. Place: Temple Pastures Retreat Center. Cost $25 per person. Co-sponsored by GLCC. For details contact chanherisa@yahoo.com.

3. 本堂主任陈伟甡牧师已经提出从2009年8月6日起改变与本堂牧职关系以寻找新牧职或新任命，并且得到区会的同意和堂会的接纳。原因：神对本堂和陈牧师都有美好的计划。下主日將會是陳牧師最後一次在本堂講道和主持崇拜,之後他便享受他餘下的假期。
4. 恩光中心協辦 靈命更新日「來到青草地」, 在大自然中親近神，享受神的同在，禱告默想，共渡安靜的一天，使身心靈得更新! 定於2009 年 7 月 11 日 (週 六), 上午九時 至 下午四時, 在Temple Pastures Retreat Centre, 每位$25 (四人以上每位$20), 報名查詢：陳鳳娟傅道 613-421-8638.
