CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS:

1. This Wednesday July 1ST is Canada Day. We thank God for Canada. May the Lord continue to bless our nation with freedom peace and prosperity. 2. We welcome to the pulpit Rev. 。。。. who will preach to us, say the pastoral prayer and benediction for us. 3. Our minister Rev. Wilson Chan is on vacation today. He will return to the office tomorrow and will be preaching to us next Sunday. 4. Ms. Herisa Chan a spiritual direction teacher will lead a quiet day retreat which helps participants into relaxation, silence and Scriptural meditation in simple words. Date: July 11 (Saturday) Time: 9am -4pm. Place: Temple Pastures Retreat Center. Cost $25 per person. Co-sponsored by GLCC. For details contact chanherisa@yahoo.com. 5. Our minister Rev. Wilson Chan had requested for a change in pastoral relationship with our church effective August 6th 2009 for the purpose of seeking a new call or appointment. This request has been approved by the Presbytery and accepted by the Church Council. A farewell party is scheduled for July 11 (Saturday). Details are to be announced later.
