1. Today is Father’s Day. We wish all fathers happy father’s day. May all your children remember the love and kindness you have shown them. 2. We welcome to the pulpit Rev. Wilf Wight, executive director of “Bright Hope”& former director of Canadian Bible Society, Eastern Ontario, who is our preacher for today. 3. Ms. Herisa Chan a spiritual direction teacher will lead a quiet day retreat which helps participants into relaxation, silence and Scriptural meditation in simple words. Date: July 11 (Saturday) Time: 9am -4pm. Place: Temple Pastures Retreat Center. Cost $25 per person. Co-sponsored by GLCC. For details contact chanherisa@yahoo.com. 4. The June issue of “Chinese Today” and July-August issue of “Proclaim” both published and distributed by Chinese Christian Mission has arrived to our church in the mail and put in the foyer for your collection. Please pick your copy and do your daily devotion with it. 5. Our minister Rev. Wilson Chan had requested for a change in pastoral relationship with our church effective August 6th 2009 for the purpose of seeking a new call or appointment. This request has been approved by the Presbytery and accepted by the Church Council. A farewell party is scheduled for July 11 (Saturday). Details are to be announced later.
