CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS for Dec. 16, 2007

1. Today is the third Sunday of Advent. We will light the third Advent candle to proclaim the coming of the light of God into the world. With the coming of this light there is love. Such great love helps us to love God and one another.
2. Church council meeting is scheduled for Dec. 20, 2007 Thursday 7:30 pm at church. All council members please attend.
3. Our church Christmas celebration is scheduled for Sunday 23rd Dec. Worship service at 11 a.m. with baptism and special music followed by celebration at 12 noon with performances and special presentations. After that dinner and fellowship will begin at 1:30 p.m. Organizing team includes Sister Amy Deng; Brother Frank Pan; Sister Nan Wang; Sister Susie Cui; Sister Di Wu, Sister Ni Zeng and Sister Veronica Chen. They welcome your suggestions and inputs.
4. 2008 new offering envelopes are ready for pick up from Brother Yi Linag. Please claim your boxes of envelopes and give accordingly on Sundays.
5. Congratulations to Wayne & Joan for the arrival of their 2nd child, Nathan, a healthy boy, weighted 7.9 lb, on Thursday Dec. 6.
6. Sister Irene Wong has donated beautiful poinsettia flowers to decorate the sanctuary for Christmas. We thank God for her loving gift.
7. 2007 New Year’s Eve thanksgiving celebration will be held Monday Dec. 31st at the home of Brother Shupang and Sister Lian Bo’s home. 6 pm pot luck dinner, 7:15 thanksgiving sharing. Please come and thank God for our blessing received in the past year.
8. Mandarin faith seekers’ class continues to meet biweekly this Saturday Dec. 22 for a new series, “Testimony of Zhang Bo Li”. Class schedule as follow: 6pm super, 6:45pm talk, 7:45pm discussion, 8:30pm free time. Contact Brother Frank Zhang for details.

1. 今天是將臨節第三主日，我們燃點第三枝將臨節的燭光宣告上帝的光要臨到世界，這光是愛之光，這大愛叫我們去愛神和彼此相愛。
2. 堂會會議定於12月20日星期四晚上7時半在教會舉行，請所有堂會職員出席。
3. 今年聖誕節慶祝已定12月23日星期天舉行，上午11時崇拜包括洗禮和特別音樂節目；中午12時遊藝表演；下午1時半午餐及交誼。籌備小組包括易珊紅姊妹；潘文弟兄；王楠姊妹；崔樹新姊妹；吳鏑姊妹；曾霓姊妹和陳必英姊妹。歡迎您提供意見給他們。
4. 2008年新奉獻封已製妥，請向梁毅弟兄領取您的捐封盒子，並按時每星期天崇拜時把您的奉獻擺上。
5. 恭喜倫雄威，裴瓊夫婦第二個孩子在12月6日星期四經已誕生，名叫Nathan, 是個健康的男孩，重7.9磅。感謝主。
6. Irene Wong姊妹送出美麗的聖誕紅多盆佈置聖壇以點綴聖誕氣氛，我們多謝她的禮物。
7. 2007年的除夕感恩聚會定12月31日星期一在周樹邦，馮蓮波的家中舉行。下午6點pot luck感恩聚餐，7點15分感恩聚會，敬請光臨，共頌主恩。
8. 國語初信者课程,每隔兩週星期六繼續舉行, 本週六(12月22日)另一新系列, “張伯笠牧師見證集” 時間表如后: 6pm 晚餐, 6:45pm 讲座, 7:45pm 讨论, 8 : 30pm 自由活動，可向張曉杰弟兄查詢詳情。
