CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS for Dec. 30, 2007:

1. Today is the first Sunday after Christmas. We relight the Christ candle. We thank God that Christ coming makes hope, peace, love, and joy possible for every person in every nation.
2. Our Christmas celebration held last Sunday was a great success. Brothers and sisters use their time and energy and gave their best to glorify God. A big hand to the organizing team which includes Sister Amy Deng; Brother Frank Pan; Sister Nan Wang; Sister Susie Cui; Sister Di Wu, Sister Ni Zeng and Sister Veronica Chen.
3. 20 copies of the Chinese devotional “Proclaim” for Jan and Feb 2008 are put on the foyer front desk. Please claim your copy and do your daily devotion accordingly.
4. 2008 new offering envelopes are ready for pick up from Brother Yi Linag. Please claim your boxes of envelopes and give accordingly on Sundays.
5. This Sunday guest speaker Rev. Dr. Gerald Fuller Adjunct Professor of Environmental Engineering Department, University of Regina and Chaplain of the Gideon camp is preaching at our pulpit. He will speak on Isaiah 55:11. This verse has a great influence on his life. We thank God for his message.
6. Sister Brenda Huang’s father passed away to be with the Lord on Dec. 9 2007. Memorial service will be scheduled in a week. We pray for the Lord’s comfort to the family.
7. 2007 New Year’s Eve thanksgiving celebration will be held Monday Dec. 31st at the home of Brother Shupang and Sister Lian Bo’s home. 6 pm pot luck dinner, 7:15 thanksgiving sharing. Please come and thank God for our blessings received in the past year.
8. Mandarin faith seekers’ class continues to meet biweekly this Saturday Jan 5, 2008 for lesson two in the new series, “Testimony of Zhang Bo Li”. Class schedule as follow: 6pm super, 6:45pm talk, 7:45pm discussion, 8:30pm free time. Contact Brother Frank Zhang for details.

1. 今天是聖誕後第一主日，我們重燃基督的燭光宣告基督的光已臨到世界，這光帶來了希望，愛，平安和喜悅，我們的喜樂不單在聖誕也在每一天。
2. 上星期天舉行的聖誕慶祝非常成功，弟兄姊妹獻上心思精神時間力量把最好的獻上榮耀神，我們為他們的辛勞感謝主，他們包括籌備小組成員：易珊紅姊妹；潘文弟兄；王楠姊妹；崔樹新姊妹；吳鏑姊妹；曾霓姊妹和陳必英姊妹等等。
3. 20份中文靈修【傳】2008年1，2月版已放在門口桌子上，請領取一份回家每天作個人靈修之用。
4. 2008年新奉獻封已製妥，請向梁毅弟兄領取您的捐封盒子，並按時每星期天崇拜時把您的奉獻擺上。

6. 本堂教友黃婉媚姊妹的父親於2008年12月9日息勞歸主，安息禮拜將於周內舉行，願主安慰其家人。
7. 2007年的除夕感恩聚會定12月31日星期一在周樹邦，馮蓮波的家中舉行。下午6點pot luck感恩聚餐，7點15分感恩聚會，敬請光臨，共頌主恩。
8. 國語初信者课程,每隔兩週星期六繼續舉行, 本週六(1月5日)新系列第二課, “張伯笠牧師見證集” 時間表如后: 6pm 晚餐, 6:45pm 讲座, 7:45pm 讨论, 8 : 30pm 自由活動，可向張曉杰弟兄查詢詳情。
