CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS for Dec. 23, 2007:

1. Today is the fourth Sunday of Advent. We will light the fourth Advent candle to proclaim the coming of the light of God into the world. With the coming of this light there is joy, joy that is ours not only at Christmas but always.
2. We welcome into our church family 7 adults and 1 baby as they join our church through baptism this morning. They are: 1. Brother Liu Fu Qi; 2. Sister Du Chao Xue; 3. Brother Zhao Bing; 4. Brother Deng Yu Yi; 5. Brother Wu Ting Sheng; 6. Sister Chen Ying Ying; 7. Brother Chen Lin; and 8. Baby Tracy Chen.
3. Our church Christmas celebration is on today, Sunday Dec. 23rd, Worship service at 11 a.m. with baptism and special music followed by celebration at 12 noon with performances and special presentations. After that dinner and fellowship will begin at 1:30 p.m. We are happy to welcome the Bei Guo Dancing and Singing Group who join us in the celebration.
4. 2008 new offering envelopes are ready for pick up from Brother Yi Linag. Please claim your boxes of envelopes and give accordingly on Sundays.
5. Next Sunday guest speaker Rev. Dr. Gerald Fuller Adjunct Professor of Environmental Engineering Department, University of Regina and Chaplain of the Gideon camp will preach at our pulpit. He will speak on Isaiah 55:11. This verse has a great influence on his life. Please come and hear from him.
6. Sister Irene Wong has donated beautiful poinsettia flowers to decorate the sanctuary for Christmas. We thank God for her loving gift.
7. 2007 New Year’s Eve thanksgiving celebration will be held Monday Dec. 31st at the home of Brother Shupang and Sister Lian Bo’s home. 6 pm pot luck dinner, 7:15 thanksgiving sharing. Please come and thank God for our blessing received in the past year.
8. Bible Study on the Book of Romans will have its final lesson this Saturday Dec. 29 at 7:15 pm in Patrick and Rita’s home. A potluck dinner will begin earlier at 5 pm to celebrate Christmas and the conclusion of the course.

2. 我們歡迎7位成人1位嬰孩透過洗禮加入我們教會的大家庭。他們是：1.劉福琪弟兄；2.杜朝雪姊妹；3.趙冰弟兄；4.鄧宇易弟兄；5.吳聽生弟兄；6.陳盈盈姊妹；7.陳琳弟兄；和陳梓熙小嬰孩。
3. 聖誕節慶祝已定今天12月23日星期天舉行，上午11時崇拜包括洗禮和特別音樂節目；中午12時遊藝表演；下午1時半午餐及交誼。我們特別高興北國歌舞合唱團蒞臨並參加演出。
4. 2008年新奉獻封已製妥，請向梁毅弟兄領取您的捐封盒子，並按時每星期天崇拜時把您的奉獻擺上。
5. 下主日嘉賓講員Rev. Dr. Gerald Fuller Adjunct Professor of Environmental Engineering Department, University of Regina and Chaplain of the Gideon camp將蒞臨擔任講道，他會用以賽亞書55章11節與我們分享神如何改變他的生命。請反堂聽這證道。

7. 2007年的除夕感恩聚會定12月31日星期一在周樹邦，馮蓮波的家中舉行。下午6點pot luck感恩聚餐，7點15分感恩聚會，敬請光臨，共頌主恩。
8. 羅馬書研經班最後一課本周六12月29日下午7：15在黃子添夫婦舉行，稍前於下午五點有potluck晚餐慶祝聖誕和休業，歡迎參加。
