3月23日會友與教會關懷

CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS for Mar 23, 2008:

1. On this Easter morning our hearts are full of joy and celebration. The stone is rolled away—the tomb is empty and hearts are full. Let’s greet each other with these words, “the Lord is risen!”, “He is risen indeed!”
2. To promote outreach to seekers and inter-churches fellowship Gracious Light Christian Centre is organizing the 2008 Ping Pong tournament. March 29, kick-off at the auditorium of Ottawa Chinese Community Building and March 30 the final at Chinese Christian Church of Ottawa. Our church team is sending players to participate in the contest. Please contact Brother Frank Pan or Brother Shupang Chou if you are interested.
3. The 2008 church council reconvened in Feb. The following committee chairs were designated. Council chair—Brother Frank Pan; Council secretary—Brother Wei Wang; Worship chair—Brother Winson Orr; Pastoral Care chair—Sister Nan Wang; Mission & Outreach chair—Brother Frank Pan; Christian Education chair—Brother Frank Zhang; Property chair—Brother Sam Chu; Finance treasurers—Brother Simon Ma and Brother Yi Liang; English ministry chair—Brother Bruce Newman. Please pray for our leaders and support their ministries.
4. Twenty one of China’s most prominent House Church leaders recently received sentences of re-education through labour ranging from one year and three months to three years by the Linyi City in the province of Shandong. They were accused of being a part of an “evil cult” which is a common charge against Christians who do not belong to the state-approved church. We pray for strength and perseverance for the leaders and comfort and support for the families and church members of the leaders.
5. Chinese prayer meeting meets every Friday at 8 pm in the dinning room. We are now watching a new testimony series by Rev. Fan Xue De in DVD. Please come to share and pray with us.
6. English prayer time led by Rev. Wilson Chan and some Spanish friends meets every Friday night at 7 pm in the sanctuary. Please come and join the fellowship.
7. Church Council meeting is scheduled for this Thursday March 27 at 7:30 pm in the board room. All council members please attend.

1. 在復活節的早晨，我們的心喜樂慶祝，墓門石頭已經輥開，墳墓裏面是空的，我們的心充滿歡欣。讓我們彼此祝賀：基督復活了，祂真的復活了。
2. 為使新朋友得聞福音，舊朋友享受團契，恩光中心主辦兵兵球比賽，於3月29日在渥太華中華會館初賽，3月30日在渥太華華人基督教會總決賽。本堂決定派隊參加，有興趣者請與潘文弟兄或周樹邦弟兄聯絡。
3. 2008年新堂會已於2月開會定出新的各委員會主席。他們是：堂會主席—潘文弟兄；堂會書記—王蔚弟兄；崇拜主席—柯文生弟兄；關顧主席—王楠姊妹；福音使命主席—潘文弟兄；基督教教育主席—張曉杰弟兄；物業主席—朱浥和弟兄；財政司庫—馬文豪弟兄；梁毅弟兄；英文事工主席-- Bruce Newman弟兄；請為各領袖禱告並支持他們的服侍。
4. 二十一位中國家庭教會領袖因參與邪教組織罪被山東省河燈區臨沂市判1年3個月至3年勞改營，這是不肯參與政府承認之教會的家庭教會常常被控的罪名。求主堅固這些領袖們，並他們的教友和家人。
5. 逢星期五晚上8時中文祈禱會都在飯廳聚會，我們在禱告前先看中國學者傳道人光碟見證佈道系列，現在已進入范學德系列：我為甚麼願意成為基督徒。歡迎您與我們一起來分享和禱告。
6. 由陳偉甡牧師及一些西裔弟兄姊妹帶領之英語祈禱與讚美時間逢星期五晚上7時在禮拜堂聚集，歡迎您參加共伸團契。
7. 堂會會議定本星期四3月27日下午7時半在會議室舉行，請各堂會職員出席。
