CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS for Mar 30, 2008:
(English)
1. Every Friday evening we have two prayer meetings: English at 7:30 in the sanctuary led by Brother Miguel Stack; Chinese at 8:00 pm in the dinning hall led by Pastor Chan and others while we share devotional messages from Chinese scholars in the DVD. Last Friday Brother Miguel Stack gave report from his missionary journey in South America. We continue to pray for his mission.
2. To promote outreach to seekers and inter-churches fellowship Gracious Light Christian Centre held the 2008 Ping Pong tournament. Kick-off started at the auditorium of Ottawa Chinese Community Building yesterday and today’s final is at Chinese Christian Church of Ottawa. Our church team is sending players to participate in the contest. Please contact Brother Frank Pan or Brother Shupang Chou for details.
3. Church council met last Thursday and made some minor changes on the committees’ chair assignment. The finalized list is as follow. Council chair—Brother Frank Pan; Council secretary—Brother Wei Wang; Worship chair—Brother Winson Orr; Pastoral Care chair—Brother Frank Pan; Mission & Outreach chair—Brother Frank Zhang; Christian Education chair—Sister Nan Wang; Property chair—Brother Sam Chu; Finance treasurers—Brother Simon Ma and Brother Yi Liang; English ministry chair—Brother Bruce Newman. Please pray for our leaders and support their ministries.
4. Center town fellowship biweekly Bible study on the Gospel of John led by Brother Patrick Wong will begin this Saturday April 5 at the home of Patrick and Rita’s. at 7:30 pm followed by a topical discussion on faith and life subject. All are welcome.
5. Every Wednesday night 7：30 PM English prayer of intercession is held in the board room led by Rev. Fred Milnes and Rev. & Mrs. Gerry Fuller alternatively. Rev. Wilson Chan participates to watch and pray for this church. Please come and pray with us.

1. 逢周五晚上我們有兩個祈禱會：由Miguel Stack弟兄帶領的英文禱告於7時半在禮拜堂舉行；由陳牧師和弟兄姊妹帶領的中文禱告於8時在飯廳舉行，我們先看錄像見證，再為關懷事情祈禱。上周五Miguel Stack弟兄分享他在南美宣教旅程的報告。我們為他的事工代禱。
2. 為使新朋友得聞福音，舊朋友享受團契，恩光中心主辦兵兵球比賽，已於昨天在渥太華中華會館初賽，今日下午在渥太華華人基督教會總決賽。本堂已派隊參加，有興趣觀賽者請與潘文弟兄或周樹邦弟兄聯絡。
3. 上周四晚堂會已開會對新的各委員會主席稍有調整。他們是：堂會主席—潘文弟兄；堂會書記—王蔚弟兄；崇拜主席—柯文生弟兄；關顧主席—潘文弟兄；福音使命主席—張曉杰弟兄；基督教教育主席—王楠姊妹；物業主席—朱浥和弟兄；財政司庫—馬文豪弟兄；梁毅弟兄；英文事工主席-- Bruce Newman弟兄；請為各領袖禱告並支持他們的服侍。
4. 中區團契每兩週一次約翰福音查經由黃子添弟兄帶領本星期六4月5日在黃子添夫婦家中舉行。7時半開始查經，然後討論信仰與生活的題目。歡迎您參加。5. 逢星期三晚上7時半英語禱告會在會議室舉行。由 Rev. Fred Milnes and Rev. & Mrs. Gerry Fuller 輪流帶領，陳偉甡牧師守望儆醒禱告。請您來與我們一起為教會守望禱告。 .
