CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS for May 25, 2008:

1. Every Friday evening we have two prayer meetings: English at 7:30 in the sanctuary led by Brother Miguel Stack; Chinese at 8:00 pm in the dinning hall led by Pastor Chan, Rev. Gerry Fuller and others while we share devotional messages from Chinese scholars in the DVD. Please come and pray for the people and for the work of our church.
2. Biweekly Bible study fellowship on the Gospel of John led by Brother Patrick Wong will continue this Saturday May 31st at Brother Patrick and Sister Rita’s home. 35 MacNabb Pl., Ottawa. Bible study at 7:30 pm followed by a topical discussion on faith and life, concluded by intercessory prayer. All are welcome.
3. In response to the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck southwest China on May 12, let all Chinese Christians join in to watch and pray for our fellow Chinese people. We pray for peace and mercy from God to heal our native land in China. Today we are collecting a special offering for relief in the China earthquake.
4. "The Ontario Health Department staff and Fire Marshal will come to inspect our church soon as a result of the daycare application. The church property committee wishes to clean up and discard all unwanted stuff in the basement storage rooms and hallways – things such as old clothes, car tires and things blocking the doorways etc. Members who have stored such items in the church basement please have them removed as soon as possible. If there are concerns please contact Sam Chu or Wei Wang."
5. Every Wednesday night 7：30 PM English prayer of intercession is held in the board room led by Rev. Fred Milnes and Rev. & Mrs. Gerry Fuller alternatively. Rev. Wilson Chan participates to watch and pray for this church. Please come and pray with us. This Wednesday our prayer meeting will move to OCAC 22 Eccles St., where we will join with other Chinese churches to pray for the Joint Devotional Meeting event scheduled for June 6-8.
6. Sister Xu Ming Li has returned to Tian Jin on Tuesday for three weeks. She will come back bringing along her five year old daughter this early June. We thank God for the family of Brother Hu Tie Qiang when the whole family of three will soon be living together happily ever after.
7. Sister Li Jing Wen had a brain operation. It went very well. The Lord watched over her. She has left the hospital and is resting at home. We thank God for protecting over her. We thank brothers and sisters who prayed for her.
8．2008 Ottawa Mandarin Joint Devotional Meeting is scheduled for June 6th Friday to 8th Sunday 7:30-9:30 pm at Ottawa Chinese Christian Church, 116 Empress Ave. Theme: Renewal of Christian life; Preacher: Rev. John Sun. All are welcome.

1. 逢周五晚上我們有兩個祈禱會：由Miguel Stack弟兄帶領的英文禱告於7時半在禮拜堂舉行；由陳牧師Rev. Gerry Fuller和弟兄姊妹帶領的中文禱告於8時在飯廳舉行，我們先看錄像見證，再為關懷事情祈禱。請為教會的事工和弟兄姊妹常常禱告。
2. 每兩週一次約翰福音查經團契由黃子添弟兄帶領本星期六5月31日在黃子添夫婦家中35 MacNabb Pl., Ottawa舉行。7時半開始查經，繼有討論信仰與生活問題最後有互相代禱和團契時間。歡迎您參加。
3. 由於中國許多地方發生了地震，特别是四川地震帶來的損失很大，在這樣的光景中，我們基督徒應該起來，為百姓守望禱告。願我們在主愛中同心為中國大地在地震災難中的百姓禱告求平安！今天奉獻我們收集特別賑災專款為四川地震之用。
4. 應日託中心的申請安省衛生部官員和消防局幫辦將到本堂查察。樓業委員會須要清潔及掃除地庫儲物房和走廊雜物--諸如舊衣服，車胎，和其他擋住通道的東西等等。教友如果有以上東西放在地庫，請盡快把它們清理。如有問題請與朱浥和弟兄或王蔚弟兄聯絡。
5. 逢星期三晚上7時半英語禱告會在會議室舉行。由 Rev. Fred Milnes 與陳偉甡牧師輪流帶領，守望儆醒禱告。請您來與我們一起為教會守望禱告。本星期三我們將移師到渥宣22 Eccle St. 為加京華人聯合培靈大會(6月6日至8日)禱吿。
6. 許明麗姊妹於上星期二回天津三個星期，6月上旬她將攜5歲女兒回來。感謝主讓胡鐵強弟兄的一家三口可以同聚天倫之樂。
7. 李靜文姊妹經過開腦手術蒙主保守平安順利，現在已出院回家休養，感謝主的看顧祝福也感謝弟兄姊妹給她的關懷代禱。
8. 2008年渥太華國語聯合培靈大會定6月6日星期五至6月8日星期日晚上7時30分至9時30分在渥太華華人基督教會116 Empress Ave.舉行。主題：基督徒生命的更新；講員：孫約翰牧師。歡迎參加。
