5月4日會友與教會關懷

CONGREGATION & CHURCH CONCERNS for May 4, 2008:
(English)
1. Every Friday evening we have two prayer meetings: English at 7:30 in the sanctuary led by Brother Miguel Stack; Chinese at 8:00 pm in the dinning hall led by Pastor Chan, Rev. Gerry Fuller and others while we share devotional messages from Chinese scholars in the DVD. Please come and pray for the people and for the work of our church.
2. The biweekly Chinese scholars’ testimony series continues to meet this Saturday May 10th with a report on China Mission by Rev. Dr. Bill Caruthers in the dinning hall. Dinner at 6:00 pm; presentation from Rev. Caruthers and others at 7:00 pm; questions and answers at 8:30 pm. New seekers and old timers to the Christian faith are equally welcome.
3. Global Day of Prayer is scheduled for the evening of Pentecost Sunday May 11, 2008 at Dominion Chalmers United Church. This is a call to repentance and unified prayer 24 hours a day and 7 days a week in all nations. Let’s start the prayer watch today. We pray God to change the destiny of our nation, raise up praying warriors to revive the church and the city.
4. Bimonthly Chinese Devotional “Proclaim” has arrived and put in the foyer table for pick up. Please claim your copy and do your daily devotion accordingly.
5. Every Wednesday night 7：30 PM English prayer of intercession is held in the board room led by Rev. Fred Milnes and Rev. & Mrs. Gerry Fuller alternatively. Rev. Wilson Chan participates to watch and pray for this church. Please come and pray with us.
6. Our church Spring Yard Clean Up is scheduled on Saturday May 10th starting at 10:30 am. Lunch will be provided. Members who wish to help out please contact Sam Chu or Wei Wang.
7. To improve our church ministry we are conducting a survey. Please fill out the survey form in the bulletin insert. You need to sign your name at the bottom to prove your identity. But it will be detached later to protect your confidentiality. Please return it to the suggestion box in the back of the sanctuary. Deadline is May 11.
8．We thank God for Sister He Ying’s parents who have obtained their Canada visa last Monday. They are coming to Ottawa in three weeks to have family reunion with Hu Hong Ying’s family. The three generations will enjoy God’s blessing under one roof.

1. 逢周五晚上我們有兩個祈禱會：由Miguel Stack弟兄帶領的英文禱告於7時半在禮拜堂舉行；由陳牧師Rev. Gerry Fuller和弟兄姊妹帶領的中文禱告於8時在飯廳舉行，我們先看錄像見證，再為關懷事情祈禱。請為教會的事工和弟兄姊妹常常禱告。
2. 逢雙週舉行一次的中國學人在美國如何獻身信仰的見證光碟系列晚會本星期六5月10日下午六時特別由Bill Caruthers牧師主持報導中國宣教事工在本堂飯廳舉行。6時晚飯，7時Bill Caruthers牧師見證，8時半回應討論，無論您是初信的還是舊信徒，我們都歡迎您加入這個團契。
3. 環球祈禱日定聖靈降臨節5月11日晚上在Dominion Chalmers United Church舉行。這是一個萬國每天24小時每周7天的悔罪聯合守望禱告。我們求神改變我們國家的命運。興起祈禱勇士，復興教會與城市裏的信徒。
4. 逢雙月出版的靈修日程【傳】五六月版已寄到本堂放在入口桌子上，請您領取一本回家作每天靈修之用。
5. 逢星期三晚上7時半英語禱告會在會議室舉行。由 Rev. Fred Milnes and Rev. & Mrs. Gerry Fuller 輪流帶領，陳偉甡牧師守望儆醒禱告。請您來與我們一起為教會守望禱告。
6. 春天教會庭院清潔日定5月10日星期六上午10點半在本堂舉行。有午餐招待。有意幫忙清潔者請與朱浥和弟兄或王蔚弟兄連絡。
7. 为改善教会事工，本堂舉行問卷調查。请把周刊附著的问卷填写。請签名于下方以证明您的身份。之後我們會把名字与内容分开，以尊重私隱，并請于5月11日前交回放入礼拜堂后面之意见箱内。
8. 我們為何瑩姊妹的父母親感謝上帝。他們於上星期一已經得到加拿大簽證。他們將於三星期後來渥太華與胡紅營的家庭共聚天倫。謝謝主賜他們三代同堂一家團聚。
