2. Today is Mother’s Day. On this day we honor our mothers and grandmothers
and express our praise to God for the blessings they have brought to our lives.

3. One of our pastoral candidate, pastor Jim Chang, from Wisconsin, has accepted our invitation to visit Ottawa probably this coming weekend, May 14-16. He will lead the Friday night prayer meeting, Bible study and fellowship on Saturday evening and preach on Sunday. More details to follow. Please pray for God’s wisdom and guidance in our search for a Mandarin pastor.

4. Please pray for the victims affected by the April 14 devastating earthquake in
Qinghai, China. Your donation will help disaster victims to rebuild their lives and their communities. You can send the donation through the “Global Teaching School” by using the school envelope or specify on your regular offering envelope “Relief Fund” and our church will forward the donation to the relief organization such as Red Cross…etc. Thank you for your generosity.
